Terms & Conditions

Ferro Brothers Handyman – Terms & Conditions

By accepting our services, you agree to the following terms:

1. Scope of Work

Services include cleaning, preparation, and application of sealcoat to the driveway surface. Crack filling and repairs may be performed if agreed upon prior to service.

​

2. Surface Condition

Sealcoating improves appearance and provides protection but does not repair structural damage. Existing cracks, stains, and imperfections may still be visible after service.

Sealcoat may not properly adhere to areas with oil or gasoline deposits, and such spots may remain visible after application.

3. Weather Conditions

Sealcoating is weather-dependent. If rain or poor conditions are expected, service may be rescheduled. Ferro Brothers Handyman is not responsible for issues caused by unexpected weather after application.

We are also not responsible for any sealer material or markings on vehicles or surrounding areas caused by wind or rain after application.

4. Drying Time & Post-Service Care

Customers must avoid foot and vehicle traffic on the driveway for at least 24–48 hours, depending on weather conditions.

Tire markings on newly sealed surfaces are normal and expected within the first 30 days and will fade over time.

Customers should avoid making sharp turns or turning wheels while stationary on the newly sealed surface during the first 30 days, as this may cause scuffing, premature wear, or an uneven texture. Keeping the vehicle in motion while turning will help prevent this issue.

Ferro Brothers Handyman is not responsible for damage caused by improper use during the curing period.

5. Irrigation & Water Exposure

Customers must ensure that sprinkler or irrigation systems are turned off during service and for at least 12 hours after application.

If water exposure occurs during application or drying time, including from irrigation systems, an additional charge for labor, materials, and reapplication may be added to the invoice.

6. Customer Responsibilities

Customers are responsible for:

  • Removing vehicles prior to service

  • Keeping people and pets off the driveway during curing

  • Ensuring clear access to the work area

  • Turning off irrigation systems

7. Payment Terms

Payment is due upon completion of the job unless otherwise agreed. We accept [cash/other methods]. Late payments may be subject to additional fees.

8. Satisfaction & Workmanship

We take pride in our work and aim for customer satisfaction. Any concerns must be reported within 48 hours of job completion so we can address them.

​

9. Limitations of Service

Sealcoating is a maintenance service. Results may vary depending on the age and condition of the driveway.

Crack filling, sealcoating, and striping materials are not guaranteed in areas with heavy cracking, structural damage, or where water pooling occurs.

10. Liability

Ferro Brothers Handyman is not responsible for:

  • Pre-existing damage

  • Oil or chemical stains

  • Damage caused by early use or improper care

  • Water exposure during curing

  • Normal wear and tear over time

​

11. Agreement

By proceeding with service, the customer acknowledges and agrees to these terms and conditions.
